Our names are Tom and Christy Stevens. We live in central Indiana where we are raising our three beautiful children and our wonderful dogs. We were married back in 1995 and our first "children" were actually Golden Retrievers. We had a few litters born, under our care, back in those days. We did take some time off from dog breeding after we started raising our "human" children. Ha Ha! Now, they help us to provide an even better setting for our puppies to be raised. Anyone who knows a Golden, knows how much they love children. So, in 2004, we moved into the home we live in now. We have 17 acres of mostly woods, some yard and pastureland. We have a few goats and cats running around but what we love the most is our dogs. Golden Retrievers are so eager to please and love people much more than we deserve sometimes! Sometimes they seem like angels in disguise. Now, we've added Murphy, a miniature poodle, to the mix. He is a precious baby. We have completely fallen in love with Goldendoodles, which is a cross between the Poodle and the Golden Retriever!! So, you might find Golden Retriever or Goldendoodle puppies in our Nursery. You just never know!! The year we moved in here, we immediately started to work on converting a building into a grooming shop. I, Christy, have owned and operated my own dog grooming shop since December of 2005. Since I work from home, I am always here to watch over everyone. We don't have lots and lots of puppies born all the time. We want to produce quality not quantity. Our dogs are our pets and we do not agree with over-breeding an animal. We are very concerned about the breeding of healthy dogs and the impact this has on the dogs and the families. We believe in breeding only healthy dogs with great dispositions. We do not agree with breeding dogs that have even the more common ailments such as chronic ear infections and/or skin allergies. Being in the dog grooming business, it is easy to see the financial and emotional stress of owning a dog with chronic health issues. Ultimately, our goals are.....produce a quality puppy of sound health and disposition....one that you will love and will love you back unconditionally. A puppy that your family can and will love for years to come is exactly the kind of puppy we can offer. We want you to be glad you came to us and know that we'll be here for support for the entire life of your new puppy.
